INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
The multifunction shower column is an innovative shower concept. You will find the various spraying sources and storage
sections directly on the shell body. To install a multifunction shower column, simply hang it on the steel lugs you previ−
ously screwed into the wall and then connect to the incoming water pipes with flexible hoses. As a result, you do not have
to cement fixtures or change plumbing!
REQUIRED INSTALLATION SPACE
The shower columns are designed to take up a minimum amount of space and offer you
a wide range of freedom in placing them in your shower space. Your may decide to fix your
column in a corner or on a wall on the side of your shower.
(Note: Some column models are attached only on the front).
FOR AN INSTALLATION IN A SHOWER SPACE.
For more convenience and comfort, we recommend a shower space having at least a 80
cm side to install the column, and the below−ceiling height should be high enough to install
a shower head of 2.00 m minimum from the receiver base. A minimum below−ceiling
height of 220 cm is necessary.
The incoming water pipes should, in addition, be located 25 cm minimum from the corner
of the wall to center the column.
For a corner mounting, your walls should be at right angles (90°).
A 5° tolerance is possible, however, for this type of installation.
Some columns are delivered with a mounting template to facilitate installation.
FOR AN INSTALLATION ON A BATHTUB.
The column may be installed against the bathtub, artfully hiding the holes provided for the
faucets and fittings.
REQUIRED WATER PRESSURE
Maximum service pressure: 5 bars
Minimum service pressure: 2 bars
Recommended service pressure: 3 bars
SPRAYING RATES AND WATER CONSUMPTION
Despite the various spraying sources, the water consumption of a shower column is the same as that of a shower mixer
or an ordinary mixer, that is, a maximum of 20 litres/minute under a 3 bar pressure spray.
WATER SUPPLY
Your column may be supplied by any kind of hot water system but it is not recommended for an instantaneous hot water
heating unit. The water pressure must be greater than 2 bars and ideally at 3 bars. If less, we advise you not to install
a column.
Above 5 bars, you should lower the pressure by using a pressure reducer.
The incoming hot and cold water pipe pressures should be balanced, and the difference between then should be less than
1 bar. If the pressure difference should exceed 1 bar, you will not obtain a satisfactory installation.
If your column has 2 spray sources (hand spray and massage shower nozzles), your installation will have to deliver at least
15 litres/minute under a 3 bar pressure spray in order to simultaneously use both sources.
If you column has 3 spray sources (high shower head, massage shower nozzles, and hand spray), your installation will
have to deliver at least 20 litres/minute under a 3 bar pressure spray in order to simultaneously use the 3 sources.
MEASURING THE SPRAYING RATES OF YOUR INSTALLATION
A − Remove the faucet´s foamer (it may falsify the measurement)
B − Fully open the hot water faucet You should obtain approximately 10 litres of water, that is a full
pail in 30 seconds.
C − Same operation for cold water, you should obtain approximately the same result
Anglicky
REQUIRED TEMPERATURE
