INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
DRAIN YOUR INSTALLATION
You should drain your installation before connecting and turning on the water in the column in order to eliminate any foreign mat−
ter (sand, hard water deposits or filings, for example) capable of subsequently blocking the filters and preventing the shower
mixer from operating correctly!
TOOLS
You will need the following tools to install your column: a tape meter, an electric drill, a screwdriver and a socket wrench. In any
case, you will receive with your shower column all the required fasteners and attaching accessories, the drill template for your
column model, and a roll of teflon tape.
CONNECTION
If your incoming water pipes are not equipped with G1/2 in. (15 x 21) threaded tips, install the G3/4 in. elbows delivered with your
column and make 2 turns on the threadings with the teflon tape to waterproof them. Insert the 18 mm dia. black filter seals in the
flexible hose tips and then tighten the hoses on the incoming water pipes. Be careful not to reverse the hot and cold water hoses.
OUR ADVICE
Turn on the water in the column before attaching it permanently to the wall to prevent the flexible hoses from being pinched during
the final tightening operation. Also make sure no leaks are present.
Never coat around the column with silicone mastic. This is useless and seriously hinders servicing operations.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
Connect a shut−off valve to your installation which is acces−
sible on each incoming water pipe.
For static pressures greater than 5 bars, we recommend
you install a water pressure reducer.
If the water contains hard water deposits, we recommend
you install a water softener.
