GB.1 INTRODUCTION

Your new Nobles Tidy-Vac Vacuum Cleaning Machine is designed for
the professional daily maintenance of carpets. If the safety precautions
and maintenance instructions are strictly adhered to, you will enjoy
many years of trouble free operation. A provision is that this manual is
carefully read and understood by all operators. In the unlikely event of
technical defects or faults then please contact your nearest Nobles
dealer.

GB.2 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The Nobles Tidy-Vac is designed for the vacuuming of non-explosive
dusts. It is designed for commercial vacuum cleaning applications e.g.
hospitals, hotels, schools, offices and factories.
All electrical parts are thoroughly secured and protected and can only
be removed with the correct tools. They conform to Class 2, EN 60335.
The following safety alert symbols are used throughout this manual as
indicated in their description:

To warn of hazards or unsafe practices which
could result in severe personal injury or death.

1. Do not operate machine:
− Unless trained and authorized.
− Unless operator manual is read and
understood.
− For vacuuming of toxic dusts.
− For vacuuming of liquids.
− With damaged cord or plug.
− If not in proper operating condition.
− On wet surfaces.
− In outdoor areas.
− In standing water.
− Without cartridge filter and paper bag.
2. Before operating machine:
− Make sure all safety devices are in place
and operate properly.
3. When using machine:
− Do not run machine over cord.
− Do not pull machine by plug or cord.
− Do not pull cord around sharp edges or
corners.
− Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
− Work within cord length to avoid stress
and damage.
− Do not handle plug with wet hands.
− Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
− Do not pick up live ashes or cigarette
butts.
