3.2.3 Start-up from remote order (without optional N/E inverter)

Connect the generating set battery;
Turn the key switch to the
The MODYS module is on. All of the LEDs light up for 2 seconds, to confirm that they are operating correctly.
Appearance of the remote order:
-
The remote order input changes status from 0 to 1
The countdown for the TMC delay (Micro Disconnection delay of 2 seconds) will start.
-
- If the engine is fitted with an air preheating system, there is a 5 and a half second delay followed by the TMC delay
(Air Preheating Activation Time (TPB) + Start Delay Time (TAD)) before the engine will start.
-
- If the engine is not fitted with an air preheating system, the starter is activated after the TMC delay.
NB: The number of successive starting attempts is limited to 3

3.2.4 Disappearance of the remote order (without optional N/E inverter)

When the signal disappears, the remote order input switches status from 1 to 0, and the countdown of the power return delay
(TRS) starts. When the delay has elapsed, the generating set stop request is activated.
NOTE: Stop requests take priority over start requests. When the key switch is turned to
generating set will stop.
It is impossible to restart the generating set when it has not fully stopped.
4. 1Faults
The oil pressure inhibition delay (TIPH) is activated as soon as the starter cut-off threshold (approximately 400 rpm) had
been exceeded.
The overspeed inhibition delay (TIS) is activated as soon as the starter cut-off threshold (approximately 400 rpm) had been
exceeded.
Oil pressure fault: the LED is activated if the oil pressure input B8 is activated and if the TIPH delay has elapsed
(5 seconds).
Coolant temperature fault: the LED is activated if the engine temperature input B9 is activated.
Non-start fault: the LED is activated if the engine does not start after 3 start attempts or when the starter cut-off
threshold has been exceeded, or if the frequency has not reached the underspeed threshold (SSV) after 20 seconds.
Charging alternator fault: the LED is activated if the frequency is higher than the SSV and if there is no voltage on
input B7.
Underspeed fault: the LED is activated if the speed goes below the SSV threshold (700 rpm) when the generating set
is operating (inhibited during the stop phase).
Overspeed fault: the LED is activated if the frequency is above the overspeed threshold (SDS) and if the TIS delay
(3 seconds) has elapsed.
To reset the display of the above faults, switch the ON/OFF switch to OFF and then to ON. Certain LEDs will remain lit,
however, if the cause of the faults have not been removed.
