indicated in Fig. 6, by using the appropriate
provided terminal forks suitable for cables with
cross sections of 0.5-1.5 mm
To interrupt the supply of power to the CTx, use a
2A double pole residual circuit breaker with
overload protection and with threshold current Idn=
30 mA.
4.2.2
Power supply circuit for CTx version
12Vdc
Place the provided power supply device inside an
electrical panel far from the shower area, following
the regulations in effect in the country in which
installation takes place. For example the IEC60364-
7 requires a distance of at least 3 m from the
shower tray (Fig. 1) or at least 3.6 m from the small
shower for hobless showers (Fig. 2).
1) Power supply connection of CTx
2) Data connection to the relay unit
Fig. 7: CTx electrical connections
For connections on the power supply 12Vdc placed
inside the electrical panel:
1) See Fig. 7.
2) Use the appropriate terminal forks provided,
which are suitable for use with cables with
cross sections of 0.5 – 1.5 mm
3) To connect the power supply device's 12Vdc
to the CTx, use cables with a cross section
2
of 1.5 mm
and with a maximum length of 25
m. The power supply device comes provided
with an output voltage regulated at 12.5-13
Vdc in order to compensate for any voltage
drops in the cables.
To connect the 12Vdc of the power supply
device to the CTx see Fig. 8: use the
appropriate terminal blocks provided and suited

1.5 mm
.
1) Power supply 100-240V.
2) Connection of the 12Vdc to the CT1w version
12Vdc.

device provided with the CTx version 12Vdc
4.3 Data connection
Connect the data cable provided with the CTx to
the relay unit as indicated in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7.

LECTRICAL CONNECTIONS OF THE RELAY UNIT
The circuits are as follows:
5.1 Power supply circuit for the relay unit
5.1.1
The protection conductor circuit (PE) for
grounding
The protection conductor (PE) for grounding must
not have a cross section inferior to that of the other
conductors entering the relay unit.
Connect the grounding conductor to the appropriate
fork terminal provided, as indicated in Fig. 5.
The terminal provided is suitable for cables with
cross sections of 0.5–1.5 mm
5.1.2
Power supply circuit for the CTx
The relay unit requires a very low power supply as
indicated in chapter 1.3 Technical features.
Connect the power supply conductors to the
terminals L and N of the power supply device, as
indicated in Fig. 6, by using the appropriate
provided terminal forks suitable for cables with
cross sections of 0.5-1.5 mm
To interrupt the supply of power to the relay unit
use a 6A double pole residual circuit breaker with
overload protection and with threshold current Idn=
30 mA.
5.2 Data connection
Connect the data cable provided with the CTx to
the relay unit as indicated in Fig. 9 and Fig. 10.
