Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
Keep the Operating Instructions in a safe place for future reference. If the product is passed on to
another person, these Operating Instructions must accompany it. We cannot accept any liability for
accidents, injury or damage resulting from failure to follow these Operating Instructions or Safety
Instructions.
The winch is designed to lift and secure loads vertically. All other use is prohibited and at the
operator's own risk.
It is prohibited to use the winch to lift persons or animals.
Regularly check the winch for damage. The remote control must be in good condition.
Never modify the plug in any way. If the plug does not fit the socket, contact an authorised
electrician to install an earthed socket.
Only connect the winch to an earthed socket, protected by a residual current device.
Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
If the winch cannot lift the load, this means that the load exceeds the load capacity of the winch. Do
not press the UP button again.
Always switch off the winch and unplug the power cord before service and/or cleaning.
The winch must not be used at low temperatures or in aggressive environments.
Do not use the winch in the rain or strong wind.
The winch is not intended for carrying hot and/or melted pulp.
Never stand under a raised load. Make sure there are no children or other unauthorised persons
near the winch.
It is prohibited to pull loads sideways or from the side. Do not swing a load backwards and
forwards.
Check before use that the steel wire is correctly wound on the drum, with a suitable pitch for the
wire diameter.
Do not exceed the maximum load specified on the winch. This value takes precedence over the
value specified on the hook.
Always leave at last four turns of wire on the drum to avoid overloading the wire attachment.
To minimise the risk of personal injury or material damage, never wind more than 15 metres of
cable on the drum.
Replace the wire immediately if it is worn or damaged. Only use approved replacement wires from
an authorised service centre.
Check that all switches are working properly before using the tool.
If the winch is stopped while lowering a load the moment of inertia will cause the load to drop
several centimetres after the winch has been stopped. This is completely normal.
NOTE! The winch motor does not have overload protection (to prevent the risk of accidental start). If the
winch cannot lift the intended load, do not attempt to lift it again. Allow the motor to cool.
Always take the winch to a qualified electrician at an authorised service centre for maintenance or
repair.
