8. Disconnect the power supply unit from the mains power and switch the floodlight off before
cleaning.
9. To avoid dazzling or blinding, do not look directly into the light.
COMMISSIONING
SWITCHING THE FLOODLIGHT ON/OFF
Switch on the floodlight.
The floodlight is lit with 100 % light intensity,
By pressing several times, the light intensity is set to 100 % – 50 % – 25 %, pressing once more
switches the floodlight off.
The lower the brightness selected, the longer the floodlight will burn.
If the switch is left in any of its "on" positions for longer than 5 seconds,
then pressing it once again will always turn it off.

BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR (B)
While the battery is charging, the red LED of the battery charge indicator (B) lights up.
When the battery is fully charged, the green LED of the battery charge indicator (B) is lit.
When the battery is almost empty, the spotlight flashes 5 times and the red LED of the battery
charge indicator (B) flashes continuously. After this, the spotlight will continue to light up for
approx. 10 minutes before the deep discharge protection switches off the light.
This leaves enough time to change the battery or to finish the work.
CHARGING THE BATTERY (C)
Charge your battery using the supplied power supply unit (E) only.
1. To ensure optimum function, we recommend fully discharging the battery on the first use and
fully charging it afterwards.
2. The charging status of the battery is indicated by the battery status indicator (see description
above).
3. If the device is not used for longer periods of time, charge the battery at regular intervals of
approx. 3 months to ensure a long service life.
4. During charging, the floodlight may be switched on.
However, the battery charges fastest when the floodlight is switched off.
5. After charging, always close the charging port with the cover cap.
