7.1. SCRAPPING

The scrapping is the end of the life cycle of the equipment. It is necessary, when all the general elements composing it do not guarantee
safe and efficient operative conditions. Most of the elements are recyclable.

7.2. DEMOLITION

The main sequential phases for disassembly and scrapping include:
• disconnecting the conductors from all the components present inside the electric board and from all the compo-
nents installed on board of the machine and sending them to bodies or companies of separate collection, obser-
ving the rule in force;
• disassembling all the components present inside the electric board and installed on board of the machine and
sending them to bodies or companies of separate collection, observing the rule in force;
• all the metal or plastic carcasses, the screws and any part in steel or plastic must be sent to bodies or companies
of separate collection, observing the rule in force.

7.3. DISPOSAL

The electric equipment cannot be disposed as urban waste. It is necessary to respect the separate collection introduced by the special
regulation for the disposal of the wastes derived from electric equipment (D.Lgs n. 151 dated 25 July 2005, 2002/96/ EC, 2003/108/
EC). The electric equipment is marked by a symbol showing a cross-out wheeled waste bin. The symbol indicates that the equipment
has been put on the market after the 13th August 2005 and that must be disposed by separate collection. The unsuitable or unautho-
rised disposal of the equipment or an incorrect use of it, considering the substances and the materials contained, can cause damages
to people and environment. The disposal of the electric wastes that does not respect the rules in force implies the application of
administrative and criminal penalties.
