Angle adjustment of the head rest
The head rest can be adjusted to
a total of 9 different positions.
Pull the top of the head rest upward. Allow it to lock into place at the
desired angle. To lower, pull the top part of the head rest all the way
up again as far as it can go. Then guide it all the way down until it is
at its lowest position.
Now you can readjust the head rest to another position. Gently guide
the head rest with your hand while adjusting. The padding distance
(in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857:2008-06) makes it impossible
to pinch your hand or fingers.
Maintenance / Cleaning / Disinfection
The exam tables are functionally maintenance-free. The user must however inspect them every 6 months
for the purpose of ensuring themselves that the tables are in proper working order. Hereby, the screws are
to be all tested to ensure that they are all still tightly fastened! Room temperatures of less than 70 C lead
to rust damage on the chrome-plated parts. Our surfaces can be wiped clean with either a dry or damp
cloth. Afterward, the surface must be wiped dry!
Caution! Do not use a dripping wet cloth as water should not be allowed to enter the structural
parts of the table!
Never use abrasive cleaning agents! These will scratch the surfaces (will also scratch the chrome). The
chrome-plated surfaces may not come into contact with halogens such as fluoride, iodine, bromine, or
chlorine/chloride (hydrochloric acid) or their derivatives, as this will damage the chrome or nickel layer.
Chrome-plated parts cannot replace stainless steel in areas with strict hygiene requirements!
The active ingredients of disinfecting agents known to us can cause surface damage when the wrong product
is selected and when used improperly. For disinfection we recommend the products "Mikrozid sensitive
liquid" and "Mikrozid sensitive wipes" made by Schülke & Mayr*. Special care must be taken to remove
all agents from the surface after their relatively short contact time of one minute, otherwise the resulting
chloride compound can cause surface damage due to corrosion – also on stainless steel! The compound
may in no way be allowed to enter the structural parts of the table as the build-up of the concentration of
the residual active ingredients will lead to damage and failure of the mechanical elements.
For this reason, avoid using spray-on disinfectant at all costs! Please remember that it is necessary to
completely remove all agents after their contact time has expired in order to avoid subsequent damage.
Should these recommendations not be followed, a much shorter lifespan of the exam table can be expected.
Even though we have recommended certain disinfection products, the responsibility of critically examining
the surface disinfection process is in the hands of the user. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer
of the disinfectant with questions about the suitability of their product as they will be best able to determine
whether or not changes have been made to the active ingredient formula of their product. Please note,
that possible material damage often becomes visible only after a long application period.
Leather imitation padding
The table covers do not require conditioning. Normal impurities can be wiped from the cover with a damp
cloth. The cover is to then be rubbed dry with a towel. Tougher messes can be cleaned with grease-free,
soapy water. Never use solvents or greasy cleaning agents! Protect your covers from skin oils, alcohol-based
solutions and creams – they could make the material brittle!
Be especially careful with disinfecting agents!

Part
On the upper part of the legs at the upper side of the table Part 2 (table - top side), there are two
adjacent holes. Put a roll of paper a onto the paper roll holder b and insert the side without the groove
into the hole (see diagram) on the one leg.
Then insert the side of the paper roll holder b with the groove into the hole on the opposite leg (see
diagram),
whereby care must be taken that the groove, which stops the holder from sliding from side to side, is
properly inserted into the wall of the leg.
Now you may unroll paper as needed for the protection of the patient.
