2. Use
This heating pad allows you to apply targeted heat. Heat promotes the circulation and relaxes the muscles.
Our heating pads made of breathable microfleece are very adaptable and agreeable to the skin. They can also
be used without their fabric cover. The detachable switch allows the pad to be cleaned in the washing machine
(see cleaning instructions).
2.1 Switch settings
The display lights up when the heating pad is switched on.

In the beginning we recommend that you use the highest setting in order to achieve rapid heating. Later you
may switch back to a lower setting.
2.2 Automatic switch-off function
These heating pads have an automatic switchoff function which stops the heat supply approx.
90 minutes after switching on the pad. The illuminated function display then starts to flash. To
operate the heating pad again, you must first set the switch to zero. After about 5 seconds, it
can be switched on again.
If the heating pad is no longer used after the timed switch-off, it should be switched off (setting
"0") or else unplugged from the mains.
2.3 Fast heating
These heating pads have a fast heating function which allows them to heat up quickly within
the first 10 minutes.
2.4 Additional information for HK 56
The shape of this heating pad was developed specially for use in the back and neck areas. In the neck region,
the upper velcro fastener ensures that it stays in place. The rucksack fastener on the lower part of the heating
pad enables you to adjust it to your body. In addition, you can change the distance of the heating pad from
your body and the intensity of the heat by adjusting the strap as desired. To close the rucksack fastener, you
insert the ends into one another. It can be opened again by pressing the hooks.
3. Cleaning and Care
These heating pads are machine-washable. Before cleaning the pad, always unplug
it from the mains. Smaller stains can be removed using a cloth or moist sponge to-
gether with a little liquid detergent for delicate fabrics if necessary. Do not use any
cleaning agents containing solvents on the appliance.
Please note that the heating pad should not be dry-cleaned, wrung out, machine-
dried, pressed or ironed.
Before washing, first remove the plug-in connection together with the switch from the heating pad. Set the
washing machine to a gentle washing cycle at 40 °C.
For ecological reasons, we recommend that the heating pad is only washed together with other textiles.
Use a washing powder or liquid for delicate fabrics and dose it according to the manufacturers instructions. Do
not reconnect the switch to the heating pad until the plug-in connection and the heating pad are completely
dry. Please note that excessive washing will wear out the heating pad. For this reason, the heating pad should
only be machine-washed a maximum of 20 times throughout its entire life.
When drying the heating pad, do not use clothes pegs or anything similar, and never switch the heating pad
on to dry it!
The cloth covers may be cleaned according to the symbols on the labels. Before cleaning, the cloth covers should
be removed from the heating pad.
