Removal of the sling when the patient is sitting
Fold the leg support under itself and pull it out at the outside of the thigh.
Then, pull the sling up behind the patient's back.
Before toileting
Turn the patient towards you and fold the sling in under the patient so that the fabric slides towards you when you pull it
out after you have turned back the patient.
After toileting
Pull the pants up as far as possible towards the groin. Place the leg support between the hollow of the knee and
waistband.
Raise the patient and pull up the pants. Do not lift higher than necessary.
If a brief is used, place it inside the pants before pulling them up.
