    1. IMPORTANT NOTE We thank you for choosing our HMA180 powered mixer with high and low output impedance (70V / 100V line). To achieve the optimum operation and performance of this unit, it is VERY IMPORTANT - before you plug anything in - that you carefully read this manual and closely follow all its indications.

    3. INSTALLATION HMA180 is a self-powered mixer especially designed for its installation in 19" rack cabinets or on desktops, occupying two units of space. You need to bear in mind two points when positioning your HMA180 unit: maximum ease-of-use and allowing easy access for input and output connections.

AUDIO INPUTS The HMA180 supports two types of signals on its input channels:  Microphones: they have a Euroblock, jack or XLR balanced connection, which can support a level of -20dBV to –50dBV, adjusting sensitivity through the ADJ control on the rear panel The microphone inputs have Phantom power to power condenser microphones, activated by the jumper (see 10.

     It supports balanced line signals (occasionally the distance between the message playback device and the HMA180 might be high, with a connection of this type ideal for minimising the effects of noise and interference induced along the wiring between both devices) ...

    The AUX OUT auxiliary output provides a mono signal at line level (0dBV), which replicates the unamplified signal delivered to the SPEAKER OUTPUT terminals. Therefore, it is possible to use that output to connect the HMA180 to one or more additional amplifiers that can serve areas with higher power requirements.

    7. CONSIDERATIONS 7.1. Switching on the unit This is done directly by using the front ON / OFF switch. In a full audio installation it is essential to start up the equipment in the following sequence: sound sources, mixer, equalizers, processors and, finally, power amplifiers.

INTRODUCCIÓN HMA180 es un mezclador amplificado profesional de dos unidades rack de altura, 9 canales de audio de entrada y un amplio abanico de funciones adicionales para la gestión de prioridades entre las entradas, envío de mensajes de voz y pregrabados para escenarios de emergencia y evacuación, etc.
