The distance to the radiated object should be 10 cm
as a minimum.
WARNING The spotlight must be mounted in a safe
and expert way. If it is installed at a
place where people may walk or sit
under, it must additionally be secured,
e. g. by a safety rope. Lead the safety
rope through the lug (10) and fix it so
that the maximum falling distance of the
unit would not exceed 20 cm.
1. Fix the spotlight via the mounting bracket (1), e. g.
with a stable mounting screw or a support for light-
ing units (C hook) to a cross bar.
To align the spotlight, release the two locking
screws (8) at the mounting bracket. Adjust the
desired inclination of the spotlight and retighten the
screws.
2. As an alternative the spotlight can also be set up as
desired. For this purpose align the mounting
bracket so that it serves as a support to prevent the
spotlight from tilting over. Then tighten the locking
screws.

4.2 Power supply

Connect the supplied mains cable to the mains jack (4)
first and then to a socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz). Then the unit
is ready for operation and can be operated via a DMX
light controller (
chapter 5.3) or runs independently
through the control programme adjusted (
ter 5.1). To switch off, disconnect the mains plug from
the socket.
WARNING Never look directly into the LEDs; this
may cause eye damage.
Please note that fast changes in light-
ing, e. g. flashing light, may trigger
epileptic seizures with photosensitive
persons or persons with epilepsy!
If several PARL-10DMX units are used, the jack
POWER LINK OUTPUT (11) of the first unit can be
connected via a mains cable with an IEC plug and an
IEC inline jack (e. g. AAC-170 / SW from the product
range of "img Stage Line") to the mains jack (4) of the
second unit. The second unit can again be connected
to the third unit etc., until all units are connected in a
chain. Thus, a maximum of 90 units may be intercon-
nected. Then the 91
st
unit must have a mains connec-
tion of its own.
Caution: The unit must not be connected to the mains
voltage via a dimmer!
For a more convenient operation it is recommended to
connect the unit to a socket which can be switched on
and off via a light switch.
