Impulsor Optronic F mineral substance metering
units can be installed in horizontal and vertical
water pipes. Leave sufficient space for replacing
the container when installing the Impulsor
®
Optronic Module F3 compact unit (see Fig. 3).
It is advisable to install shut-off valves immedi-
ately up- and downstream of the unit. A 50cm
inspection pipe should be installed horizontally in
the cold water pipe and in the hot water pipe for
checking the efficacy of metering. The pipes should
be made of the same material and have the same
dimensions as the water pipe, be easy to change,
and be situated at least 2m away from the injection
point.

Connect the unit to the HydroModul system or a
separate connection module as follows:
1. Turn the blue retaining ring to the left limit stop.
2. Press the prongs of the unit into the spaces
provided and then rotate the device 45°
clockwise to the limit stop.

3. Use two hands to pull the blue retaining ring
towards the device until it clicks into place.
The device cannot be rotated unintentionally.
To release the metering unit, press the retaining
ring towards the connecting module.
