6. Set the On/Off switch of the kettle to position I (ON). The device will turn on and the
LED light will illuminate. The LED light changes from blue to red during use. You can
interrupt the boiling process at any time by setting the On/Off switch to position 0
(OFF).
7. The kettle automatically deactivates once the water has boiled. The On/Off switch
sets automatically to position 0 (OFF) and the LED light switches off.
8. Remove the power plug from the socket and take the kettle off of the base and ca-
refully pour the water into a suitable container. Keep the lid closed when pouring out
the water.
9. If not in use, the kettle may be stored on the base. However, be sure to pull the mains
plug out of the socket.
If you accidentally use the kettle without any water, the device switches off au-
tomatically. In this case, push the On/Off switch to position 0 (OFF) and let the
kettle cool off before using it again.

Cleaning and care

ATTENTION!
Never submerge the device, the mains cable, and the plug in water or other liquids.
When cleaning, do not use any aggressive, scouring or toxic cleaners.
Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
Allow the device to cool off before cleaning.
Wipe the device off from the outside with a clean, damp cloth.
Keep the device in a ready-to-operate state. You should remove limescale from
water on a regular basis and according to the water quality in your region and the
frequency of use. Use a decalcifi er for this. Follow the instructions of the decalcifi er
when decalcifying the kettle.

Troubleshooting

If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem

Possible cause/solution
Is the mains plug correctly inserted in the plug socket?
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
Check the fuse of your mains connection.
Has the device overheated? Wait until it has cooled down,
pour water in and then try again.
Is the amount of water less than the Min marking?
