Testing and preparing for operation
Open the supply pipe stopcock and outlet pipe stopcock fully in
order to ensure proper flushing. Press the button, release and
check that the cycle operates correctly. Throw a number of
pieces of toilet paper in the toilet bowl and flush again.
Use
- Ensure that the stopcocks in the supply and outlet pipes are
open.
- You have the option of a short or a long flush:
- Short flush (1.7 litres): Press the button once.
- Long flush (3.3 litres): Press the button twice.
- After using the toilet, close both stopcocks.
When the toilet has not been used for a long period, it is rec-
ommended that it is flushed a number of times with clean water
before it is used again.
During periods of frost (winter) you should take the following
measures:
- Shut off the water supply (close the stopcock).
- Operate one cycle without water.
- Pour about 2 litres of anti-freeze in the toilet bowl.
- If necessary, drain the water out of the pipes.
Anti-freeze is poisonous. Never pour anti-freeze into the outside

Maintenance
Traditional toilet cleaners can be used to clean the toilet and
remove scale deposits.
To prevent lime scale deposits in the pump section, it should be
cleaned regularly. Proceed as follows:
- Close off the water supply (shut the stopcock).
- Operate one cycle without water.
- Pour about 1 litre of vinegar or de-scaler into the toilet bowl.
Allow to stand for several hours.
- Open the stopcock again and operate a number of cycles to
flush the toilet and remove the remaining de-scaler from the
pump.
The frequency of descaling depends on the hardness of the
water. Descale at least twice a year.
When seawater is used as flushing water, flush out with fresh
water now and again, to rinse out salt deposits.
