7.
COMBUSTION FUMES EXHAUSTION
(R.S.I.) TIGHT INSTALLATION (TYPE C)
Connect this boiler to concentric or split air suction and
fumes exhaustion ducts, to be both taken outdoor (see
figure). Do not operate the boiler without these ducts.
Concentric ducts (diam. 60-100)
Concentric ducts can be positioned in the most suitable
installation direction, with special care to outdoor
temperature and duct length.

Non-insulated exhaustion ducts can be dangerous.
Boiler automatically adjusts ventilation following
!
installation type and duct length.
Do not obstruct or reduce dimensions of combustion
air suction duct.
If a longer duct is used, boiler is affected by power
!
losses (see table)

Follow kit instructions for installation.
Split ducts (diam. 80)
Split ducts can be positioned in the most suitable installation
direction, with special care to outdoor temperature and duct
length.
The table shows the straight lengths allowed and how to
install the fume flange A available with the kit.
Follow supplementary kit instructions for installation.

In case of installation with outdoor exhaustion ducts,
calculate maximum length allowed without
condensates collector by referring to outdoor
temperature instead of installation site temperature.
!
The condensates collector can only be applied to fumes
duct, max. 0.85 m from the boiler; connect water trap
to white waters exhaustion.
!
Fumes exhaustion duct is to be tilted by 1% to
condensates collector.
The boiler automatically adjusts ventilation following
!
the installation type and duct length. Do not obstruct
or reduce dimensions of ducts in any way.
