When using this electrical equipment, basic safety procedures should be followed:
IMPORTANT: All electrical wiring work must be performed by a qualified technician, strictly in accordance with local governing
code and the C 15-100 codes for earthing the apparatus, and the wiring used be of the correct quality.
IMPORTANT: Before performing any work on the ELEMENT heat pump, turn OFF its mains power switch.
The installer should place protection elements in the line auxiliary circuit breaker 30mA C or D curve . The Circuit breaker
must be dedicated with no other appliances sharing the power provided by the circuit.
Before connecting to the electricity supply, ensure that the voltage, number of phases and the electrical power of the unit are
compatible with the place of installation. A variation in voltage (+/-10%) is acceptable; please refer to the indications on the
device's data plate.
For three-phase devices, the phase imbalance must be no greater than %.
IMPORTANT: ensure that the voltage indicated on the unit's identification plate corresponds to the voltage being used.
Make connection as shown in the wiring diagram.
Note:
In the case of a three-phase power supply, prior to commissioning the unit, make sure that the phase rotation order is correct.
The phase-sequence controller restricts the unit from operating if the 3 supply phases are not in order, or if a phase is absent.
