Using the Device

Charging the Device

Connect the device to a PC or notebook via the supplied Micro-USB cable. The charger connection is located beneath
the touchscreen. The maximum charge rate is 2A. If you connect the SkyStar to the charging cable, the display will show
the current charge status of the batteries. The charging process will stop automatically and the display will switch off once
they are completely charged (4.2V). The batteries CANNOT be changed during the charging process. To do this, please
disconnect the USB connection first. If using a wall adapter, make sure it is suitable for charging with a current of 5V/2A.

Firmware Updates

Download the software from the Aspire website: http://www.aspirecig.com/upgrade/. Using the charging cable, connect
the device to a notebook or PC with internet access. The driver will automatically detect the device. Select "Open File" to
select the firmware version. Press "Update" to upgrade your device. If an error occurs during the update process, repeat the
procedure as just described.
