The adjustable extraction nozzle makes it
possible to accurately adjust the detection
range for welding fumes depending on the
welding job (e.g. fillet weld, positional wel-
ding, etc.).
IMPORTANT! Only adjust the extraction
nozzle so far towards the contact tip that it
cannot be detached from the fume extracti-
on torch during welding operation.
The fume extraction torch can optionally
also be used with the extraction nozzle; in
this case, fewer welding fumes are extrac-
ted.
The Up/Down torch has the following func-
tions:
- Changing the welding power in syner-
gic operation by means of up/down
buttons
- Error display:
- in the event of a system error, all
the LEDs turn red
- in the event of a data communica-
tion error, all the LEDs flash red.
- Self-testing in the start-up sequence:
- all the LEDs briefly light up in suc-
cession.
