6.1.3 Installing the Top Tether
1. Take the Top Tether (01) and, if required,
lengthen the belt by pressing the Top Tether
brake button (02) to release the strap, pulling to
adjust as necessary (fig. 1).
2. Attach the Top Tether hook to the Top Tether
anchorage point which is recommended in the
owner's manual for your car (fig. 2).

3. To tension the Top Tether (01), remove any slack
by pulling on the free end of the strap until it is
suitably tightened (fig. 3). The Top Tether will be
properly tightened when the tension indicator
turns completely green (fig. 4).
6.2 FasTeNING THe cHIld INTo THe caR seaT
The correct adjustment of the headrest ensures that
the child is properly fastened into the car seat. The
headrest must be adjusted so that the harness (which
moves with the headrest) is at shoulder height on the
child or slightly above, but never behind the back or
at ear level (fig. 1).
1. Pull the headrest height adjuster (07) and move it
to shoulder height in accordance with the size of
the child (fig. 2).

2. Loosen the harness straps by stretching the
chest section while holding down the harness
adjustment button (10) (fig. 3).
3. Open the buckle (09) so that the child can be
placed into the seat. The harness straps can be
placed on the armrest (fig. 4)
4. Place the child into the seat.
5. Fit the safety harness around the child, using the
buckle (09) to fasten the two parts together until
you hear a "click" (fig. 5).
6. Stretch the harness adjustment belt in order to
give the harness the correct amount of tension (11).
Remember that in order to guarantee the child's
safety, harnesses must be well-tightened (fig. 6).

7. adjUsTING THe seaT

7.1 Recline positions

1. In order to make the child as comfortable as
possible, the seat can be reclined by pulling the
lever (12) under the front part of the seat. Keep
the lever pressed down as you recline the seat,
releasing it when the seat is in the desired position
(fig. 1 and 2).
