If the helicopter wants to drift forward, then reduce the speed and push the steering trim for the Nick function (see
figure 1, Pos. 7) gradually backward.
If you dismantled the Nick/Pitch stick function at your transmitter, then you must adjust the opposite
steering trim (see figure 1, Pos. 9).
Push the Pitch stick carefully forward and check if the adjustment was sufficient.
Repeat the procedure until the model does not show any tendency to drift forward. If the helicopter wants to drift
backward, carry out a trim adjustment forward.
Later you can adjust the steering trim for the Pitch function so that the Pitch control stick remains in the centre position
when the helicopter hovers.
If the control paths of the steering trim are not quite adequate for an optimum correction, you have the possibility to
change the control of the lower rotor blades mechanically.
For further information, refer to the chapter „Fine-tuning the model helicopter".
It is possible that a trimming attempt fails (see point G, "Trimming the helicopter"). Use the
"Reset" function to improve the trimming behaviour.
Proceed as follows:
Place the trimming slider on the remote control in middle position.
Reset the helicopter by detaching the rechargeable flight battery's connection cable. Wait ca. 10 seconds
with the power off before reconnecting.
Wait an additional 10 seconds before another trimming of the helicopter.
Now observe the improved trimming behaviour.
