Cleaning the blade guard
We recommend dismantling the blade guard 2 to 3
times a week to permit still more thorough cleaning of
the machine.
The blade guard can also be dismantled to permit a
general cleaning operation. Proceed as follows:
1. Detach and remove the 6 M3 countersunk screws
using a suitable slotted screwdriver (fig. 27).

2. Pull the two halves of the blade guard apart
carefully. There is now no obstacle to thorough
cleaning.
3. Before assembling the blade guard halves, make
sure that the support surfaces have been cleaned
carefully to remove all residual dirt (fig. 28).

To avoid friction and corrosion damage, regular
maintenance and servicing are essential.
Always store the dehider knife in a dry room.
Checking the maintenance unit
To allow the compressed air knife to work perfectly,
the maintenance unit should be checked at regular
intervals. For this purpose, first release the pressure
in the system! Now remove condensate water and if
necessary apply special oil to the oiler.
This will prevent damage to motor parts caused by dirt
or rust particles.
For this purpose

Check the operating pressure (max. 8 bars) at
regular intervals.

Use only original spare parts!
Please contact your nearest contractual workshop or
the parent company directly.
The spare parts lists can be issued on request to the
specialist workshops.
If the machine performance deteriorates, the dehider
knife must be dismantled and cleaned. Worn
