3. Install:
• Grommet 1
• Shift cable 2
• Throttle cable 3
• Battery cable 4
• Wiring harness 5
NOTE:
Align the taped end a of the battery cable with
the end of the grommet.
4. Fasten: (with the cable clamp 1)
• Throttle cable
• Shift cable
5. Adjust:
• Shift cable joint position
Adjustment steps:
• Set the shift lever 1 to the neutral posi-
tion.
• Align the mark a on the shift rod link with
the mark b on the shift bracket.
• Adjust the position of the cable joint 2
until its hole aligns with the set pin.
• Install the clip 3 and tighten the locknut
4.
WARNING
The cable joint must be screwed in a
minimum of 8.0 mm (0.31 in).
