4.10. Routing to external effects units

The HAKs two mixable channels offer a switchable effects path (31), allowing you to
route the output signal to an external effects unit (ex. Reverb, sampler...) and loop it back to
the HAK. When the button is pressed, the effects path is active, effect led is on (30).
The EFF output (12) should be connected to the audio input of a stereo effects unit.
The units output can then be connected back to the HAK360 through the MIX (5) input. The
MIX input is a direct access to the mixing buss, allowing no further control over volume or
tone.

4.11 Outputs

Headphones: in order to obtain a high performance, these should be of the high
impedance type (200600). Plug them to the PHONES output (42), in the front panel, by
means of a standard stereo jack. Sleeve is Ground, Ring is Right Channel and Tip is Left
Channel.
The HAK360 has two main outputs OUT1 (10-11), balanced XLR 3, 0dB on 600
and OUT2 (9) RCA, +6dB on 1k with their own volume control by using a rotary knob to
adjust the output signal. Small plastic black Jumpers (A set of 5 jumpers is delivered with the
HAK360) can internally adjust (Fig 2) main outputs to +6dBV (2V) or 0dBV (1V). The HAK360
features a 0dB led indicator (24) nearby the MASTER 1 LEVEL potentiometer in order to adjust
and control your OUT/MASTER signal. The 0dB led indicates when the Output 1 signal goes
over the nominal reference adjustment. This red LED should be blinking during the performance
and never remain permanently lightened up.
ATTENTION: You must be careful when setting up the general output level of the
mixer. The "clip" display of the connected power amplifiers must never remain permanently
lightened up, but do it occasionally by following the rhythm of the bass signals that are being
played.
The HAK360 mixer has a REC (13) output of 0dBV nominal on 10k load.
