A COMPLETE RE-FLEX ROTATE FOOT SYSTEM COMPRISES THE
FOLLOWING:
• Re-Flex foot module
• Maintenance free shock module with rotational compliance
• A cosmetic foot cover (ordered separately).
OPTIONS:
Re-Flex Rotate is available with either a male or female pyramid
connector.
Re-Flex foot modules are available either as Standard (Figure 1) or Tall
(Figure 2).
WARNING: Avoid exposure to fire, excessive heat or cold. This may
damage the shock or change its function.
PYRAMID ADAPTER
Use Loctite 243 and torque to 15Nm (11ft-lbs).
FLEX-FOOT SOCK
The toe end of the sock is divided by a thread and fits within the toe split.
Upon fitting the sock, hold the top of the toe thread and slide the sock
into the toe split. The thread of the sock should rest on top of foot
module and not underneath the toe split. The sock should be loose from
the heel area.
SHOE HORN
When removing and installing the foot cover use a Flex-Foot shoehorn to
avoid damage to foot and/or foot cover.
ALIGNMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
To ensure optimum function of the foot and pylon, use the following
guidelines:
1. Bench Alignment
To introduce the appropriate socket flexion and heel height:
• Divide the foot length into 3 equal portions (Figure 4).
• The load line should fall at the junction of the posterior and middle
third portions of the foot (Figure 4).
2. Adjusting the Shock Module (Figure 1)
To adjust the shock module, loosen the
three hex screws on the attachment clamp
(Figure 3) and rotate the foot until the
correct height and/or rotation is achieved.
One full rotation results in 8mm change in
height. For finer adjustments, rotate in 90°
turns:
Warning: Ensure there is full engagement
of the clamp and shock module. Less than
full engagement will void the warranty.
