13.3.4 Adjustment for the amount of glue

NOTE: Do not set adjustment knob after machine has cooled down. Part of the
adjusting components will get stuck by the glue, hence no turning on the knob is
allowed.

 Loose screw and insert a sample edge into the side of the
hold-down clamp.
 Move down the clamp to tough the edge band and set the
width of the band.
 Tighten the screw.
 Adjusting glue amount: the adjusting knob (1) can
control the amount of glue applied onto the edge
banding material (only when the machine is heated
up and the glue granulate is liquid!).
 When machine has heated up and the glue granulate
has become liquid, feed a sample edge to check the
amount of glue applied on it.
Adjust until the edge is coated evenly.
