4. WEATHER FORECAST

This unit is capable of detecting atmospheric pressure changes. Based
on collected weather data, it forecasts the weather for the next 12 to 24
hours, using these symbols:

4.1 PLEASE NOTE:
• It is not necessary to adjust the altitude of the weather station after
the initial start-up. A fi rst forecast will be made within the fi rst 24
hours of operation.
• In long periods of stable weather conditions, it becomes diffi cult to
make a reliable forecast.
• The weather forecast is solely calculated on the basis of barometric
air pressure changes.
• The probability of a correct weather forecast is approximately 70%
and is valid for an area of approximately 20-30 km around the
location of the weather station.
• The 'Sunny' icon indicates clear weather, even when displayed at
night.
4.2 WEATHER FORECAST ALERT
The weather station will alert you when the weather forecast status
switches to one of the following weather conditions: heavy rain, heavy
snow or unstable stormy weather. The weather display backlight will il-
