Introduction
The mobility bag is intended for mobile use
of the Stellar. It protects the device against
dust and water. The straps allow the mobility
bag to be fixed to a wheelchair or to be hung
on a shoulder. For longer mobile use, power
the device using the ResMed Power Station II
external power supply unit or other validated
and approved DC power supply that meets
the required voltage and current specifications
stated in the Stellar User Guide.
Description of the mobility bag
Refer to illustration A.

Setup
Setup for use with ResMed Power Station II
Refer to illlustration B.
1. Connect the coupler to the DC cable.
2. Attach the coupler in the mobility bag.
3. Pull the DC cable through the hole of the
bottom of the ventilator compartment.
4. Place the two batteries in the mobility bag.
5. Connect the batteries with the coupler
cables.

1. Connect the DC cable to the DC power
socket of the Stellar.
2. Place the Stellar in the mobility bag.
3. Attach the air tubing and the antibacterial
filter (if applicable) to the air outlet of the
device.
Closing the mobility bag
Refer to illustration D.
1. Close the zippers.
2. Secure the air tubing with the VELCRO
straps.
Setup for use with a wheelchair
Refer to illustration E.
1. Attach the carrying strap to the carry hooks
on the top of the mobility bag.
2. Lay the carrying straps over the back of
your wheelchair and attach it to the hook on
the bottom of the mobility bag.
Alternatively you can hang the mobility bag on
your shoulder or on your back.
Using the pulse oxymetry sensor
Refer to illustration F .
1. Attach the pulse oximetry sensor to the
Stellar.
2. Close the flap.
3. Attach the finger pulse sensor to the pulse
oximeter.
Using the device
To operate the device open the protective flap
for the dial protection.

Cleaning and maintenance

The cleaning and maintenance described in this
section should be carried out regularly. Refer
to your device, mask and other accessories
user guide for detailed instructions for care and
maintenance.
Wipe the interior and exterior of the mobility
bag with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Leave the cleaned parts to dry.

General warnings and cautions
Read the entire manual before using the
mobility bag.
Read the Stellar User Guide and when
using accessories, read the manufacturer's
User Manual.
Do not cover any air inlets.
Always close the zippers and the flaps to
protect the device from moisture.
Oxygen must not be used while the device
is being operated within the mobility bag.
When using Stellar in the Mobility Bag,
check the alarm volume is loud enough to
be heard in the noisiest environment in

which it will operate.
