NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ The device should only be used if it has been correctly assembled! Before each use,
check whether the fi lter holder and the jug are inserted correctly and whether the
water tank is fi lled correctly.
■ The device may only be operated in an upright position, never tilted.
■ Position the mains cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■ Only use the jug which is also supplied with this device. Do not use it on a stove or
in the microwave.
■ Never place the hot glass jug on a cold surface or fi ll it with cold water. The glass
might shatter.
■ Never use the device without the jug below the coffee outlet.
■ If there are problems during operation, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and
allow the device to cool down.
■ Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket before a thunderstorm.
■ When you pull it out of the socket, always pull on the mains plug and never the mains
cable!
■ Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■ Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there
is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible
damage.
■ Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, frost, persistent moisture, wet conditions
and impacts.
