EN | Babboe Mountain Rear Carrier Installation Manual
Congratulations on the purchase of a new rear carrier for your Babboe Mountain!
Below you will find instructions on how to install the rear carrier. To remove the rear carrier, please follow the steps
in reverse order.
You will need the following materials to install the rear carrier:
Allen key 3
Open-end spanner 8 & 10
Phillips screwdriver
Tape
Step 1
Remove the rear light
In order to install the rear carrier, you'll first need to remove the rear light.
1. Make sure to unplug the plugs that are attached to the rear light.
Please note: don't pull the wire, but pull the plug instead. The plug is located at the end of the wire and is slightly
thicker than the wire.
2. Remove the ring lock, otherwise you won't be able to reach the nuts on the mounting bracket.
3. Remove the lighting and bracket from the bike.
4. Unscrew the bracket, removing it from the lighting.
Step 2
Attaching the rear light to the rear carrier
Now that the rear light has been removed from the bracket, the rear light can be attached to the back of the rear
carrier.
Tip: Use the same nuts that secure the lighting to the bracket.
Step 3
Extending the lighting wire
Since the rear light is now installed onto the rear carrier, it is located further away from the saddle, so it's important to
extend the lighting wire with the plugs.
This is easily done by carefully pulling the wire out of the frame.
Remove the saddle and seatpost from the frame, now carefully pull the lighting wire from the frame (with the saddle/
seatpost in place, the wire could get stuck).
