6 Installation and application information for Z-HRD (D)-FUF/FUFA-KMB accessory set:
Sealing according to DIN 18195-6 with fixed/loose flange and KMB
(polymer-modified bituminous thick coatings)
The HRD (D)-FUFA installation instructions must be followed for installation with dowels.
Fit the supplied protective silicone caps to the M20 instal-

lation screws of the fixed flange in order to protect the
thread from dirt.
Use a suitable levelling mortar to level out any uneven

patches around the flange.
Then start the substrate treatment in accordance with the
general appraisal certificate of the KMB manufacturer.
Substrate pretreatment for HRD (D)-FUFA and HRD (D)-FUF
At the end of the curing time, remove any particles or dust

from the surface to be sealed and the mounted fixed
flange.
Remove any oil, grease or concrete slurry residue from the

fixed flange.
