General information and intended use
The HRD (D)-FUF/FUFA fixed/loose flange conduit allows all types of pipes to be inserted into buildings through
walls, ceilings and floors. The fixed/loose flange is retrofitted by dowelling it onto a conduit or a core drilling.
The fixed/loose flange conforming to DIN 18195, Part 9, enables buildings to be waterproofed against the
load as defined in DIN 18195, Part 6. Depending on the surface sealing used, the rubber inlays prescribed
by the manufacturer must be used.

General notes
•
The DIN standards and guidelines listed here are only valid in Germany. In all other
countries, the applicable versions of national standards and guidelines should be used.
•
It is essential to observe the applicable country-specific standards and policies for any con-
creting work carried out. This applies in particular to waterproof concrete components in
accordance with EN 206-1, modular construction or working with self-compacting concrete.
•
Flange conduits are to be positioned so that their outer edges are at least 300 mm away
from the edges of buildings and roof valleys and at least 500 mm away from building joints.

Safety instructions
•
It is important to protect the flange conduits from damage, moisture and impurities during
installation. Check that all necessary components have been delivered and that they are
not damaged. You must not install damaged components.
•
Building entry installation must comply with the relevant professional association regu-
lations, VDE provisions, national safety and accident prevention regulations as well as
company regulations (work and procedural instructions).
