Précautions concernant le gaz réfrigérant R290
Precautions to take for the (R290) propane cooling gas
L'appareil fonctionne au propane R290 (sauf indication
contraire sur la plaque signalétique), un hydrocarbure HC
de haute pureté ayant un faible impact sur l'environnement
et d'excellentes propriétés thermodynamiques.
3.1. CARACTÉRISTIQUES DU GAZ :
- Il n'endommage pas la couche d'ozone (ODP = 0).
- Potentiel de réchauff ement global (GWP) = 3
- Point d'ébullition à 1,013 bars : -42°C
- Glide (glissement de température) (ºC) : 0
- N. ONU : 1978
- Classement de sécurité : A3.
- Non toxique mais extrêmement infl ammable.
3.2. IDENTIFICATION DES RISQUES
De longues expositions par inhalation peuvent provo-
quer des eff ets anesthésiques, des anomalies du rythme
cardiaque et provoquer une mort brusque. Le produit
pulvérisé ou sous forme d'éclaboussures peut provoquer
des brûlures thermiques aux yeux ou à la peau.
Le gaz est hautement infl ammable, il doit être conservé
loin des sources de chaleur, des surfaces chaudes, des étin-
celles, des fl ammes nues ou d'autres sources d'allumage.
Interdiction de fumer.
3.3. PREMIERS SECOURS
3.3.1. Inhalation
Endosser un scaphandre autonome, éloigner la victime de la
zone d' e xposition pour l'amener dans un endroit chaud et la
coucher. Si nécessaire, pratiquer la respiration artifi cielle, ad-
ministrer de l' o xygène ou eff ectuer un massage cardiaque.
Demander l'intervention immédiate d'un médecin.
3.3.2. Contact avec la peau
Faire dégeler avec de l'eau les zones touchées.
Enlever les vêtements contaminés car ils pourraient coller la
peau en cas de brûlures thermique et se laver immédiatement
et abondamment à l' e au tiède. En cas d'irritation cutanée ou de
formation de cloques, demander l'intervention d'un médecin.
3.3.3. Contact avec les yeux
Laver immédiatement à l'eau claire, en ouvrant bien les
paupières, pendant au moins 15 minutes. Demander l'in-
tervention d'un médecin.
3.3.4. En cas d'ingestion
Ne pas induire le vomissement ! Si la victime est
consciente, lui faire rincer la bouche avec de l'eau et lui faire
boire 200 à 300 ml. Demander l'intervention immédiate
d'un médecin.

3.2. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Prolonged exposure by inhalation can cause anaesthetic
eff ects, heart rhythm abnormalities, and sudden death.
Spray product may cause frost burns in the eyes and skin.
This gas is highly fl ammable. Keep it away from heat
sources, hot surfaces, sparks, open fl ames or other ignition
sources. Do not smoke.
3.3. FIRST AID MEASURES
3.3.1. Inhalation
Remove victim to uncontaminated area wearing self
contained breathing apparatus. Keep victim warm and
rested. If needed, apply artifi cial respiration, supply oxygen
or perform CPR. Ask for the immediate intervention of a
physician.
3.3.2. Contact with skin
Defrost the area using water.
Remove contaminated clothing, as it may adhere to the
skin in case of gel burns and immediately wash the victim
with plenty of warm water. Call a physician in the presence
of skin rash or blisters.
3.3.3. Contact with eyes
Immediately wash the eyes with clean water, keeping the
eyelids open, for 15 minutes. Ask for the intervention of a
physician.
3.3.4. Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting! If the victim is conscious, rinse
their mouth with water and make them drink 200 or 300 ml
of water. Ask for the immediate intervention of a physician.
