Introduction
• Presence simulation: simulate presence by switch-
ing random lights or 230 V electrical appliances on or
off. In this application the remote-controlled socket is
controlled by a keypad with touch screen, regardless of
the status of the alarm system. See the keypad with
touch screen manual for more information.

This application can be used together with the
OFF/ON or Timer applications and you must first
configure your remote-controlled socket (see chap-
ter on "Operating options" and the keypad with
touch screen manual).
Make sure you take as many precautions as
possible when choosing the lights to be used
in presence simulation mode (especially halogen
lighting). Once lit, these lights must not interfere with
your alarm system's activated motion detectors and
trigger false alarms, or cause a fire to break out.
Example: control lighting via the remote-controlled
socket in Arm/Disarm mode using a remote control and
simulate presence by switching on the same lighting
using the keypad with touch screen.
