Adjusting the burner flame
. After the lighting process, release the gas governor and turn it to high-level heating.
. To reduce the heating level, press in the gas governor and turn it to the small flame symbol.

Operating instructions
WARNING! Hot surfaces, objects and foods! Hot liquids slopping over! Heavy cookware!
Risk of scalding! Risk of injury from lifting heavy loads! Note the weight of the cookware!
. Work with proper back posture!
. Wear protective gloves!
. Use pot holders!
. Exercise appropriate caution!
D Immediately remove any spilt or boiled-over food scraps from the gas range!

D The gas range is equipped with a thermoelectric safety pilot. Upon the pilot light's extinguish­
ing, the gas supply is automatically disconnected by the safety pilot to avoid any accidental
gas escape.
D The gas range is equipped with various burner capacities. The capacities are apparent from
the various burner cover sizes.
D Use dishes of the correct diameter for the gas burner. The flames must not burn at the side
adjacent to the dishes.
− Cooking ring 5 kW: Pot/pan diameter minimum 135 mm to maximum 380 mm.
− Cooking ring 7 kW: Pot/pan diameter minimum 135 mm to maximum 460 mm.
