Warning! Switch the glue gun off before commencing
u
maintenance and cleaning work.
Keep the glue gun clean to ensure effective, safe oper-
u
ation.
After the adhesive has hardened, you can remove it with a
blunt object. Do not use solvents when cleaning. If neces-
sary, the bonding locations can be unstuck again by applying
heat.
An inserted glue stick (4) must not be removed from the rear
of the glue gun.

The contained lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dan-
gerous Goods Legislation requirements. The batteries are

Remedy

When shipping by third parties (e.g.: by air transport or for-
warding agency), special requirements on packaging and la-
belling must be observed. For preparation of the item being
shipped, consulting an expert for hazardous material is re-
quired.
Disposal
Glue guns, power supplies, batteries, accessor-
ies, packaging and adhesive residues should be
recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
Do not dispose of glue guns, power supplies or
batteries with household waste.
Only for EU countries:
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU and Directive
2006/66/EC respectively, electrical and electronic equip-
ment that is no longer usable and defective/drained batter-
ies must be collected separately and recycled in an environ-
mentally friendly manner.

Please observe the notes in the section on transport (see
"Transport", page 12).
Integrated batteries may only be removed for disposal
u
by qualified personnel. Opening the housing shell can ir-
reparably damage the glue gun.
To remove the battery from the glue gun, first ensure that
the battery is drained to the point where the battery charge
indicator (8) is lit red. Unscrew the screws on the housing
and remove the housing shell in order to remove the battery.
To prevent a short circuit, disconnect the connectors on the
battery one at a time and then isolate the poles. Even when
fully discharged, the battery still contains a residual capacity
which can be released in case of a short circuit.
