After the application of the glue, the work pieces
should be pressed together until the glue sets. The
glued location is capable of supporting a load after
approx. 5 minutes.
Protruding glue remains can be removed with a
sharp knife after the glue has cooled.
Glued spots can be unglued by applying heat. The
glued spots can be painted.
Nozzle Replacement
Wear protective gloves.
Heat the unit for approx. 4 minutes. Change the nozzle
while warm. Hand-tighten the nozzle after changing it.
Touch the nozzle only on the heat protection
covering - the nozzle tip is hot!

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any work on the unit itself, pull the
mains plug.
Do not try to remove the glue stick to the rear
out of the unit.
If the unit should fail despite the care taken in man-
ufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be
carried out by an after-sales service agent for Bosch
power tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders,
please always include the 10-digit order number
given on the nameplate of the unit.
WARNING! Important instructions for connect-
ing a new 3-pin plug to the 2-wire cable.
The wires in the cable are coloured according to the
following code:
strain relief
live = brown
neutral = blue
Do not connect the blue or brown wire to the earth
terminal of the plug.
Important: If for any reason the moulded plug is re-
moved from the cable of this unit, it must be dis-
posed of safely.

should be sorted for environmental-
friendly recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper
manufactured without chlorine.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling.
