ISTRUZIONI D'USO
1. DESCRIZIONE
Il filtro ZP3 è composto da carta tecnica microporosa per filtri assoluti.
2. CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE
- FILTRO POLVERI per AEROSOL SOLIDI e LIQUIDI

Classe: P3R
La marcatura aggiuntiva con la lettera "R" riutilizzabile indica che le prove addizionali secondo EN
143:2000+A1:2006 hanno dimostrato che il filtro anti-polvere o la parte anti-polvere di un filtro combinato
possono essere riutilizzati per più di un turno di lavoro dopo l'esposizione ad un aerosol.

efficienza minima 99,95% contro particelle solide e liquide = 0.3µm .

resistenza respiratoria < 200 Pascal a 95 l/min

Attacco: Filettato EN 148-1
- Classe: TH3P SL se collegato con respiratori a casco certificati TH3P come da istruzione respiratori, soddisfa i requisiti
della norma EN12941.
- Classe: TM3P SL se collegato con respiratori a maschera intera certificati TM3P come da istruzione respiratori,
soddisfa i requisiti della norma EN 12942.
3. UTILIZZO
Il filtro é adatto per essere utilizzato nell'industria.
Omologato per la protezione delle vie respiratorie contro aerosol liquidi e solidi, amianto e particolati di radionuclidi con
concentrazioni non superiori a 30 x TLV(UNI 11719) per quarti e semimaschere, 400 x TLV(UNI 11719) per maschere
intere, 500 x TLV( UNI 11719 ) per elettrorespiratori TH3P di produzione KASCO e 2000 x TLV( UNI 11719 ) per
elettrorespiratori a maschera intera TM3P di produzione KASCO. Per l'uso contro amianto e particolati di radionuclidi si
consiglia la sostituzione dopo ogni turno.

4. LIMITAZIONI D'USO
a. Non usare in atmosfere immediatamente pericolose per la vita o la salute
b. Non usare per la protezione contro vapori e gas
c. Non usare per la protezione contro fumi d'incendio
d. Non usare in atmosfere con meno di 17% d'ossigeno
e. Non usare in atmosfere con concentrazioni superiori a quelle ammesse.
f. Non usare in atmosfere con aria arricchita di ossigeno.
Non usare se la qualità dell'aria ,escluso il particolato, non è respirabile.
g.
h. Non usare il filtro in atmosfera esplosiva se non collegato a DPI abilitato.
Non usare se non si conosce la natura e/o concentrazione dell'inquinante

È vietato l'impiego con dispositivi diversi da quelli descritti

5. MONTAGGIO E CONTROLLO PRIMA DELL'USO
Prima dell'uso del filtro verificare che la sigillatura sia intatta ,che la scadenza sia nei termini appropriati e che il filtro sia
adatto per il respiratore sul quale verrà montato.
Togliere coperchi e/o sigilli dal filtro e avvitarlo per mezzo del filetto EN 148-1 al respiratore previsto.
6. MARCATURA
Su ciascun filtro viene applicata la seguente etichetta:

USE INSTRUCTIONS
1. DESCRIPTION
The ZP3 FILTER is composed of submicronic technical paper for absolute filters.
2. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- DUST FILTER AGAINST SOLID AND LIQUID AEROSOLS
•Class:P3R
The additional marking with "R" letter re-usable indicates that the additional testing according to EN 143:200/A1:2006
have proved that the dust filter or the dust section of the combined filter can be re-used for more than one shift after
having being exposed to an aerosol.
• minimum efficiency 99,95% against solid and liquid particulates =0,3μm
• respiratory resistance<200 Pascal at 95l/min.
• Connection: EN148-1 thread
- Class TH3P SL: meets EN12941 requirements when fitted to TH3P certified respirators with helmet as
per respirators use instructions.
- Class TM3P SL: meets EN12942 requirements when fitted to TM3P certified respirators with full face
mask as per respirators use instructions
3. USE
The filter is suitable for use in industry.
Approved for respiratory protection against solid and liquid aerosols, asbestos containing dusts and mists and radio
nuclide particulates with concentrations that do not exceed 30 x TLV ( UNI 11719 ) for quarter and half masks, 400 x TLV
( UNI 11719 ) for full face masks, 500 x TLV ( UNI 11719 ) for Kasco THP3 powered respiratory protective devices and
2000 x TLV ( UNI 11719 ) for Kasco TMP3 full face mask powered respiratory protective devices. When being used for
protection against asbestos and radionuclides it is advisable to replace filters after every shift.
PLEASE CONTACT KASCO IF FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE USE OF THESE FILTERS IS REQUIRED.
4. LIMITATIONS
a. Not for use in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health.
b. Do not wear for protection against vapours and gas
c. Do not use for fire fighting.
d. Do not use in atmospheres containing less than 17% oxygen.
e. Do not use in atmospheres where the concentrations are higher than those admissible.
f. Do not use in atmospheres with oxygen enriched air
g. Do not use if the air quality, except for the particulate, is not breathable
h. Do not use in explosion risk atmosphere when not screwed onto the suitable PPE
i. Do not use when pollutant type and/or concentration is not known
j. The use with other devices different from above described is forbidden.
5. FITTING AND INSPECTION BEFORE USE
Before using the filter make sure that the seal is unaltered, that expiry date is within due limit, that the filter is adapted
for the respirator on which it will be screwed.
Remove covers and/or seals of the filter and screw normalized EN 148 thread onto the respirator.
6. MARKING

7. MANUTENZIONE
- Il filtro non può essere lavato,ne soffiato o rigenerato.
- I filtri non sigillati devono essere sostituiti ogni 3 mesi a prescindere dal numero di ore lavorate. È' quindi
consigliabile scrivere sul filtro la data di apertura.
- Quando é intasato deve essere scartato
- L'intasamento del filtro si manifesta con un aumento della resistenza respiratoria per maschere e
semimaschere o una progressiva diminuzione del flusso d'aria all'interno di un respiratore elettroventilato .
8. TRASPORTO
Per mantenere integro il filtro durante il trasporto conservarlo nell'imballaggio originale
9. IMMAGAZZINAMENTO:
Conservare il filtro nell'imballo originale. Conservare l'imballo ad una temperatura compresa tra 0 °C e +
40 °C ed una umidità relativa inferiore al 80%. In condizioni di immagazzinamento diverse da quelle
raccomandate il termine di scadenza potrebbe essere inficiato.
10. AVVERTENZE
Ritornare immediatamente all'aria fresca e pulita se:

Si avverte una perdita mediante l'olfatto, il gusto o mediante irritazioni agli occhi o alla gola.

L'aria inalata diventa troppo calda.

Si avverte senso di nausea, giramenti di testa o malessere generale.
Non usare un filtro per più di 3 mesi

7. MAINTENANCE

The filter cannot be washed, blown out or restored.

Unsealed filters have to be replaced every 3 months, regardless of the amount of hours worked. It is
thus advisable to write the date on which the filter was opened on the filter itself.

When it is exhausted it must be disposed of.
ZP3 filter exhaustion is manifested by an increase of respiratory resistance for full face mask and half mask
or a progressive decrease of the airflow inside an electro ventilated respirator.
8. TRANSPORT
The filter is to be kept in its original packing during transport.
9. STORAGE
Store filter in its original packing at a temperature between 0 °C and + 40 °C and a relative humidity inferior
to 80%. Different storage conditions than the above suggested could alter expiry date.
10. CAUTION
Return to fresh, clean air immediately if:

Leakage is detected by smell, taste or, eye nose or throat irritation.

Inhaled air becomes too hot.

Any feeling of nausea, dizziness or ill being develops.
Do not use a filter for more than 3 months.
11. WARNING
KASCO DECLINES ANY LIABILITY EITHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT AND WILL RETAIN ANY TYPE OF
WARRANTY FORFEITED ON THE INSTANT SHOULD FILTERS AND SPARES OTHER THAN GENUINE
KASCO FILTERS AND SPARE BE USED ON THEIR RESPIRATORS
