13. Troubleshooting

With this surveillance camera, you purchased a product built to the state of the art and operationally safe.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. Therefore, observe the following information about troubles-
hooting.
Light does not come on
• The lamp is only activated if the environment is not bright enough. The switching threshold cannot be set
but is firmly programmed.
• Select the lamp mode „Auto", see chapter 9. h).
• Replace the lamp, see chapter 12.
Motion detection is not working correctly
• Align the surveillance camera differently.
• The motion detection is based on recognition of temperature changes in the recording area, e.g. if a
person, animal or car with a different temperature than the background enters the recording area.
Observe Chapter 7.
SD/SDHC memory card is not recognised
• The display of the surveillance camera shows „NoSd", if no memory card is inserted or if it is not recog-
nised.
• The surveillance camera can only be operated with SD memory cards up to 2GByte or SDHC memory
cards up to 16GByte. Use of SDXC memory cards is not possible.
• Reformat the SD/SDHC memory card on your computer; use only the file system FAT/FAT32.
• Try inserting a different (empty) memory card.
Recordings have been lost
• If the memory card is full, the oldest recordings are automatically overwritten.
No recording possible on the SD/SDHC memory card
• Check the writing protection slider of the SD/SDHC memory card.
In some cheap memory cards, it may move so easily or be so large that it may be operated by accident
when inserting the memory card into the surveillance camera.
• Reformat the SD/SDHC memory card on your computer; use only the file system FAT/FAT32.
