This manual has been compiled to help you to operate your
boat with safety and pleasure. It contains detail of the boat, the
equipment supplied or fitted, its systems and information on it
operation and maintenance. Please read it carefully and
familiarize yourself with the craft before using it.
If this is your first boat or if you are changing to a type of boat
you are not familiar with, for you own comfort and safety,
please ensure that you obtain handling and operating
experience before assuming command of the boat. Your
dealer or national sailing federation or yacht club will be
pleased to advise you of local sea schools or competent
instructors.

DESIGN CATEGORIES
Category A – "Ocean". Craft designed for extended voyages
where conditions experienced may exceed wind force8
(Beaufort scale) and include significant wave heights of 4 m,
for vessels that are largely self-sufficient.
Category B – "Offshore". Craft designed for offshore
voyages where conditions up to and including wind force 8 and
significant wave heights up to and including 4 m may be
experienced.
Category C – "Inshore". Craft designed for voyages in
coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers, where
conditions up to and including wind force 6 and significant
wave heights up to and including 2 m may be experienced.
Category D – "Sheltered Waters". Craft designed for
voyages on small lakes, rivers and canals, where conditions up
to and including wind force 4 and significant wave heights up
to and including 0.5 m may be experienced.
