Cutting-length adjustment
Without the attachment comb, the normal cutting length of
the appliance is approx. 0.1 mm. The cutting length can be

adjusted between 0.1 and 3 mm, even when the appliance
is in use.

is possible to set the cutting length at 6 preset positions
(MultiClick).

Cutting with the attachment comb
The appliance can also be operated with attachment

combs. Attachment combs can be used to extend the cut-
ting length range.

Depending on the model, various attachment combs are
included in delivery. Attachment combs #1 (4.5 mm), #2 (6

mm), #3 (9 mm), #4 (14 mm), #5 (19 mm) and an adjust-
able attachment comb (4 - 18 mm) are also optionally
available as accessories.

The adjustment lever used to adjust the cutting
length must not be locked (Fig. 4ⓑ).

1. Slide the attachment comb onto the blade set in the
direction of the arrow until it reaches the limit stop
(Fig. 5ⓐ).
2. Slide the attachment comb off the blade set in the
direction of the arrow (Fig. 5ⓑ).
Replacing the blade set
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to
incorrect handling.
f Switch the appliance off and disconnect from
the power supply before changing the blade
set.
1. Switch the appliance off using the on/off switch (Fig. 2)
and disconnect from the power supply.
2. Undo both screws on the blade set; remove the bottom
blade and the top blade (Fig. 8).
When assembling, the bottom blade and the top blade
should be aligned as follows:
3. Set the locking switch (B) for the cutting length
(Fig. 3ⓐ) and the adjustment lever (Fig. 4ⓑ) to the
shortest cutting length.
4. Place the top blade with groove on the wedge-shaped
plastic guide and press it down at the back so that the
drive pin grips the blade cutout.
5. Position bottom blade and reinsert the two screws.
6. Before tightening the screws, align the bottom blade
(Fig. 7).
Warning! Injuries due to incorrect handling.
f Align the bottom blade so that there is a gap
of 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm between the front edge
of the bottom blade and the front edge of the
top blade (Fig. 7).

Tighten both screws (Fig. 8).
