Never place the unit on the edge of the working surface.
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
unit directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
Position the device in a way so that the power plug is always accessible.

5.3 Operating

Prior to first use, clean the unit's casing with a moist, soft cloth and mild cleaning
agent.
Remove the grooved cap on the cover and remove the cover from the unit.
Thoroughly clean the unit's cover with a mild cleaning agent, rinse in clean water and
dry thoroughly.
The initial cleaning requires that you dismount the double sickle knife. To do so,
remove the three screws and carefully remove the double sickle knife.
Wash the double sickle knife in a dishwasher or with a mild cleaning agent and soft,
moist cloth or sponge of artificial materials, in order to remove the lubricants remaining
after the production process.
WARNING! Danger of injury!
The sickle knife is extremely sharp. To avoid injury, do not grab the knife by its edge
when cleaning!
Clean the cover plate and spacer with a moist, soft cloth and mild cleaning agent.
Rinse in clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
Re-attach the cover with the feeder opening using the grooved caps.
ATTENTION!
Prior to connecting the unit to a power source, always check to ensure the unit
has been assembled properly and fully!
Connect the unit to a grounded single outlet.
Place a place on the base plate, under the dispenser opening.
Insert sausage into the feeder opening using the appropriate tongs.
Hold the power switch until the unit finishes slicing the sausage.
