TRACKING FUNCTION
The laser plane is automatically centred to the receiver "on-grade" (automatic axis alignment).
The operation of the tracking function is possible with the laser receiver FR 77-MM TRACKING only.
Start the tracking process:
Press the "Channel / tracking"
The display of the laser and of the remote control will change to the tracking mode indication and a
blue LED light at the receiver will flash. The rotating speed of the laser will automatically increase to
1100 rpm.
The laser plane starts searching the "on-grade" position of the receiver in the selected axis. The display
shows a dashed line.
A permanent beep tone is indicating that the laser plane reached an endpoint of the search angle range.
After reaching an endpoint the laser plane moves in the opposite direction to continue the searching
process.
Upon contact of the laser beam with the receiver the position of the laser beam referred to „on-grade"
will be displayed in mm (vertical application). For horizontal applications the position is displayed in %
(the % value will flash until "on-grade" is reached). The displayed percentage value is an approximation
value only.
After reaching "on-grade" the blue LED at the receiver stops blinking and the green LED lights perma-
nently.
This indicates that the tracking process is completed.
Receiver FR 77-MM TRACKING returns into normal reception mode.
Note:
During the tracking process the remote control function is not available.
