Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply im-
mediately.
• Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
• Never spray cold water onto the grill plates during or immediately
after use of the device. This could damage the surfaces of the
grill plates!
• Always allow the device and the contents of the fat collecting
tray to cool down completely before you clean the parts and
dispose of the contents.

Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
• Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of
suffocation, as well as other hazards!
• Please note: You might notice some smoke and a strange smell the fi rst time you use the
device. We therefore recommend that you initially heat up the device for a few minutes
WITHOUT any contents in order to burn off any production residues that may remain.
During this time, make sure the room is well ventilated, e.g. with wide-open windows!
• The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
thoroughly clean the device before you use it for the fi rst time. Never immerse the
device in water or other liquids to clean it.
