• Remove the mains plug from the socket and allow the device to
cool down if problems occur during toasting. Remove anything
that may be stuck in the toasting slot by moving the lowering
lever up and down a few times.
• Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.
• Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
• Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe chan-
ges in temperature, moisture, wetness or direct sunlight.
• Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the device. They could damage the surface.
Hygienic notes
• The device may have production residue stuck to it. To avo-
id health risks, clean the device before fi rst use (see chapter
"Cleaning and care").
• Keep the device clean.
