SAFETY DEVICES
To guarantee the correct functionality of the appliance,
this is equipped with the following safety devices:
- Thermocouple flame control (5 fig. 17):
it interrupts the flow of gas in case of no pilot flame.
The repetitive, not occasional, intervention of this
safety device, indicates an incorrect functioning of the
appliance for which the intervention of qualified
staff is necessary.

PRESCRIPTIONS
The appliances of category II2H3+ are usually calibrated for
functioning with G20 methane gas and are adjustable to
functioning with liquid gas G30-G31.

Fully press knob 1 for approx. 20 seconds and act on the piezo-
electric button 2 repeatedly to switch-on the pilot (check from
opening 3).
If knob 1 is released, the pilot switches off; repeat the operation
and keep pressed for longer until the flame remains on. The
longer time is necessary to allow the air eventually present
inside the gas piping to bleed.
Rotate knob 1 anti-clockwise from the pilot ignition position to the
index corresponding to the wanted temperature, from 1 (approx.
40° C) to 7 (approx. 70° C).
SWITCH-OFF
Rotate knob 1 to position (off). Verify the pilot flame's switch-
off. After pilot flame switch-off, wait 10 minutes before re-ignit-
ing the appliance.
- Overtemperature thermostat: acts with the same methods
of the thermocouple in case the water temperature exceeds
90°C; in this case, the appliance cannot be re-ignited until the
hot water has been drained.
However, the intervention of qualified staff is necessary
for the removal of the defect before re-ignition of the
appliance.
