Mechanical assembly

3.1 Assembly to linear actuators

- The actuator must be in its initial position (actuator exhausted).
- Insert the mounting bracket (1) between the actuator's head (2) and the
position sensor (3) and fasten it by tightening the position sensor at the
hexagon (4).
- Screw the positioner to the mounting bracket (1) with two M6 screws (5).
- Unscrew and open the bonnet of the positioner.
- Introduce the cable of the linear position sensor into the M12 gland (6) of
the positioner and connect it to the terminal board according to the
assignment plan (see chapter 5).
- Then screw the M12 gland tight. The cable must fit tightly.
3.2 Assembly to rotary actuators
- The actuator must be in its initial position.
- Screw the rotary position sensor (3) with the mounting bracket (1)
to the actuator.

3.3. External assembly

- The actuator must be in its initial position (actuator exhausted).
- Mount the position sensor as described in chapter 3.1 and/or 3.2.
- Mount the positioner with the NAMUR adapter (4)
