2. Screw the chain tensioning screw (72) carefully up to the
stop to the left. This makes it easier to insert the guide
bar (41).
3. The saw chain (40) is placed in the circumferential
groove of the guide bar (41).
4. Place the guide bar (41) with the inserted saw chain (40)
into the holder for the pole-mounted pruner (36). (fig. 12)
5. Pay attention to the alignment of the chain teeth (fig. 12).
6. Guide the saw chain (40) around the chain wheel (71).
Make sure that the teeth of the saw chain (40) grip se-
curely into the chain wheel (71).
7. Place the guide bar (41), as shown in figure 12, into the
transmission retainer. The guide bar (41) must be hooked
into the chain tensioning bolt (74).
8. Refit the chain cover (70) and the blade fixing nut (39).
Attention!
Only fully tighten the guide bar fixing nut (39) after the
chain tension has been adjusted (see section 9.5.2 "Ten-
sioning the saw chain").
9.5.2 Tensioning the saw chain (40) (fig. 13)
1. Loosen the guide bar fixing nut (39) for the chain cover
(70) a few turns with the spark plug wrench (54).
2. Adjust chain tension with the chain tensioning screw (72)
using the spark plug wrench (54). Turning the screw clock-
wise increases the chain tension, turning it counterclock-
wise decreases the chain tension. The saw chain (40) is
tensioned correctly when it can be lifted approx. 2 mm in
the centre of the blade (41).
3. Retighten the guide bar fixing nut (39) for the chain cover
(70) with the spark plug wrench (54).
4. Attention! All chain links of the saw chain (40) must sit
properly in the guide nut of the blade (41).
Notes about tensioning the saw chain (40):
The saw chain (40) must be tensioned correctly in order to
guarantee safe operation. You can identify the optimal tension
when the saw chain (40) can be lifted approx. 2 mm in the
centre of the blade (41).
Check the chain tension every 10 mins at the latest and adjust it
if necessary as the saw chain (40) heats up during sawing and
therefore its length changes. This particularly applies to new
saw chains. Slacken the saw chain (40) after work is complete
because it shortens after cooling down. This prevents the saw
chain (40) from getting damaged.
9.5.3 Filling the automatic saw chain lubrication
(fig. 13)

Inhalation of lubricating oil vapours and exhaust gases can
cause serious damage to health, unconsciousness and in ex-
treme cases death.
- Do not breathe in lubricating oil vapours and exhaust gases.
- Only use the product outdoors.

Risk of fire and explosion!
Oil can ignite during filling and possibly explode. This leads
to severe burns or death.

It is recommended to use standard bio saw chain oil.
1. Remove the oil tank cover (75) from the oil tank (44).
2. Fill the oil tank (fig. 44) up to the MAX marking with saw
chain oil.
3. Close the oil tank cover (75).
9.6 Fitting the leaf blower (33) (fig. 14)
1. Remove the protective cover plugs from the tube. These
are not needed and can be stored in the tool bag (13)
on the backpack.
2. Insert the tube into the leaf blower attachment. Pay atten-
tion to the position of the holes.
3. To assemble the leaf blower blowpipe (34), fit the three
screw plugs (35) and then tighten them using the 4 mm
Allen key (56).
9.7 Fitting the lawn edge trimmer (45) (fig. 15)
1. Loosen the clamping screw (50b) and fixing screw (50c)
with the 5 mm Allen key (57).
2. Remove the protective cover plug from the tube. This is
not needed and can be stored in the tool bag (13) on
the backpack.
3. Connect the tube to the lawn edge trimmer attachment.
4. Tighten the clamping screw (50b) and the fixing screw
(50c) again with the 5 mm Allen key (57).

10. Before commissioning

Never use the combination petrol device without
an attachment.
10.1 Mounting the various attachments on the
operating unit (fig. 16)
1. Remove the protective plug (11) to the control unit (1).
2. Remove the cover (76) from the shaft of the attachment.
3. Slide the shaft of the cutting device into the control unit
sleeve (1).
4. Gently turn the shaft until the locking pin of the respective
attachment (20, 28, 32, 37 or 46) engages.
5. Now tighten the control unit locking screw (10).
Attachments are disassembled in reverse order.
10.2 Fill with fuel
m Risk of injury! Petrol is explosive!
Switch off the engine and allow it to cool!
Wear safety gloves!
Avoid skin and eye contact!
It is essential to observe the "Safety Instructions" section.
1. Only refuel the tank outdoors or in sufficiently ventilated
rooms.
2. Clean the area surrounding the tank plug of the fuel tank
(17). Impurities in the tank lead to operational faults.
3. Before refuelling, shake the container with the fuel mix-
ture.
4. Carefully open the tank plug of the fuel tank (17) so that
any possible excess pressure can be relieved.
5. Carefully fill the fuel mixture up to the lower edge of the
fuel tank (17) filler neck. Use a funnel or a filling aid to
prevent spilling of the fuel.
