The following precautionary measures must be complied with during
mounting and operation:
• Do not undo the fastening screws of the load application part under any
circumstances
• The silicone membrane lies mechanically protected under the load
application part. The gap between enclosure and load application part must
not be cleaned with sharp objects or high pressure cleaners.
• During cleaning, the load application part and the gap to the enclosure must
not be completely submerged in water as, under unfavorable
circumstances, water can penetrate into the interior of the load cell via the
venting holes.
• The depth of the M6 threaded holes is 7 mm. Please note this dimension
when selecting the fastening screws.
• FIT load cells have overload protection in the tensile and compressive
directions. Note the permissible maximum values for eccentric loads and
take into account overloads from knocks.
• Avoid force shunts during setup.
